We see the key to long-term conservation and protection of our natural resources as the involvement and education of the community. Therefore we offer workshops, K-12 demonstrations and field trips, and service opportunities within the community. Please inquire about these opportunities because we may be unaware of your unique situations. One of the reasons we are nonprofit is so that we can afford to do community outreach and education. We have in the past hosted grade school children at a local wetland, done demonstrations at science nights at schools, taken the elderly on field trips, hosted fishing trips, and many fun activities. We have coordinated planting events at wetlands for the community as well as burrowing owl habitat construction. There are a multitude of fun, exciting experiences in the outdoors for all age groups.
